Nature Sleeps

I was inspired by Te Fiti from Moana as well as the plant-covered statues in Cornwall's 'The Lost Gardens of Heligan' for this piece. It features a sleeping goddess who's form makes up the mountains. She is covered in plants, trees and mushrooms. The photos show a past version of this piece, future pieces will be made-to-order. The design will be exactly the same but the wood will be different, however it will still be a rectangular shelf sitter with one live (barked) edge. It will measure roughly 26cm wide by 15cm high (10 by 5 inches) and then be finished in a vegan and non-toxic oil and have a hook screwed into the back ready for hanging. Please specify in the order notes if you do not want the hook.
 
This is a made-to-order piece so please be aware that there is a 4-6 week turnaround.
 
Please note that all wood burnings are subject to fading over time. Keep your art away from direct sunlight and heat sources to reduce fading or cracking.
